  • • Modern AI Inc. is seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Ecommerce Manager to spearhead our conversion rate optimization (CRO) efforts and oversee the seamless execution of our ecommerce operations across a portfolio of dynamic Shopify brands. This is a pivotal, dual-faceted role designed for an individual who thrives on data-driven decision-making and possesses a keen eye for optimizing the customer journey from discovery to post-purchase. You will be instrumental in driving measurable revenue growth by owning the entire experimentation lifecycle and meticulously managing ecommerce tasks and projects.
  • • Reporting directly to the Director of Ecommerce, you will collaborate closely with a talented internal team comprising developers, designers, paid media specialists, retention experts, and brand stakeholders. Your primary objective will be to identify, prioritize, manage, and rigorously measure the impact of experiments, translating strategic insights into actionable plans that developers will then bring to life. While developers will handle the technical implementation, you will own the strategy, the hypothesis, the analysis, and ultimately, the outcome of every initiative. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of multiple brands within a forward-thinking company.
  • • *Core Responsibilities: CRO Strategy & Experimentation**
  • • **Develop and Maintain a Structured Experimentation Roadmap:** You will be responsible for creating, refining, and managing a comprehensive roadmap of A/B tests and other optimization experiments. This involves identifying key areas for improvement and aligning experiments with broader business objectives.
  • • **Identify High-Impact Opportunities:** Conduct thorough analysis of user behavior, site performance, and key ecommerce metrics to pinpoint opportunities for optimization across critical touchpoints, including Product Detail Pages (PDPs), collection pages, the shopping cart, and the checkout funnel.
  • • **Craft Detailed Test Briefs:** Translate identified opportunities into clear, concise, and actionable test briefs for the development and design teams. These briefs will outline the problem, proposed solution, target audience, success metrics, and technical requirements.
  • • **Formulate Data-Backed Hypotheses:** Develop well-reasoned hypotheses for each experiment, clearly articulating the expected user behavior change and projecting the potential revenue impact based on data and industry best practices.
  • • **Ensure Quality Assurance (QA):** Meticulously review and QA all experiment implementations before they go live to ensure accuracy, functionality, and adherence to the test brief, preventing any technical glitches or data discrepancies.
  • • **Analyze Test Results and Quantify Impact:** Utilize analytics tools to rigorously analyze the performance of live experiments. Calculate the incremental revenue generated by winning tests and understand the nuances of user behavior shifts.
  • • **Present Performance Insights and Recommendations:** Effectively communicate experiment findings, key learnings, and strategic recommendations to the Director of Ecommerce and other relevant stakeholders, influencing future optimization efforts.
  • • *Core Responsibilities: Ecommerce Operations & Task Management**
  • • **Translate Strategy into Actionable Tasks:** Convert strategic initiatives and experiment plans into well-defined, structured tickets within our project management tools (Asana or Jira), ensuring clarity for execution teams.
  • • **Manage Timelines Across Multiple Brands:** Oversee and manage project timelines for various ecommerce initiatives across all assigned brands, ensuring timely delivery and efficient resource allocation.
  • • **Coordinate Cross-Functional Stakeholders:** Act as a central point of contact, coordinating efforts and facilitating communication between development, design, paid media, retention, and brand teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • • **Proactively Prevent Bottlenecks:** Identify potential roadblocks and proactively address them to prevent delays and ensure that deadlines are consistently met.
  • • **Maintain Documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):** Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, experiments, and site updates, establishing clear SOPs to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • • **Ensure Clean and Timely Shipments:** Guarantee that all experiments and site updates are implemented cleanly, function as intended, and are launched on schedule, contributing to a seamless customer experience and maximizing revenue opportunities.
