- • As an EDI Analyst I at Prompt, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration and efficient processing of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) transactions for our valued B2B SaaS clients in the healthcare industry.

- • You will be the frontline of support, developing and maintaining a profound understanding of Prompt's Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Clearinghouse capabilities to expertly address customer inquiries via our integrated chat and email support channels.
- • Your primary focus will be on resolving common support tickets related to clearinghouse rejections, EDI rules, and application assistance for ERA/EDI, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to proactively enhance the customer experience by identifying and advocating for improvements in our EDI/ERA enrollment processes and overall support.
- • You will be tasked with understanding the unique needs of each client, including their specific billing combinations (NPI/TIN), payer mix, and intricate billing rules, to facilitate a successful transition and ongoing operational efficiency.
- • Ensuring that the ERA/EDI enrollment process is initiated and progresses according to the established onboarding schedule will be a critical responsibility.
- • You will be responsible for providing clients with the necessary enrollment paperwork and offering dedicated support throughout this process.
- • A crucial part of your role involves actively monitoring client accounts for any rejections or issues that specifically pertain to enrollment-related items during their implementation phase.
- • This position requires a deep dive into the intricacies of healthcare EDI standards, specifically gaining a working knowledge of the X12 Manual, including essential transaction sets such as 837P (Professional Claims), 837I (Institutional Claims), 835 (Remittance Advice), 276 (Claim Status Request), and 277 (Claim Status Response).
- • You will gain hands-on experience in performing the complete Healthcare EDI/ERA enrollment process, from initiation to completion, for both Part A and Part B facilities, a critical step in enabling our clients to submit claims and receive payments efficiently.
- • The role involves troubleshooting clearinghouse and payer-related rejections, a common challenge in healthcare revenue cycle management, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- • You will be expected to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and internal teams, ensuring all parties are well-informed and aligned.
- • A demonstrated extreme attention to detail and robust organizational skills are paramount to accurately manage client data, track progress, and prevent errors in the complex EDI/ERA landscape.
- • The ability to meet deadlines with a strong sense of urgency is essential, as timely processing of claims and remittances directly impacts client revenue and satisfaction.
