- • The EHS Engineer at Saronic Technologies plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, health, and environmental compliance of autonomous maritime systems throughout their lifecycle—from design and manufacturing to testing and validation. This position is essential to supporting the company’s mission of advancing autonomy at sea by embedding safety into every stage of product development and operations.
- • Day to day, the EHS Engineer will provide technical expertise in Design for Manufacturing (DFM), develop and implement safety solutions, conduct risk assessments, ensure regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local EHS standards, collaborate with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams, liaise with external vendors and technology partners, support incident investigations, and lead the development and execution of EHS programs including training, audits, and emergency preparedness.
