• • As an Embedded AI Engineer at Homebase Labs Inc., you will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency and business outcomes for internal teams by developing and deploying durable AI-powered systems. This role is designed for an individual who thrives on working closely with business units, translating complex and often unstructured workflows into well-defined, scalable AI solutions. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of embedded engagements, from initial discovery and workflow mapping to the build, launch, and subsequent scaling of AI-driven tools.
• • Your primary focus will be on shipping full-stack internal systems, encompassing services, integrations, and user interfaces, that become essential for daily operations. A key aspect of this role involves balancing the need for rapid development and deployment with the imperative of creating maintainable and robust software. You will treat shared internal AI software, which will be leveraged by multiple teams, as a critical asset, ensuring its continuous evolution and improvement.
• • A significant part of your contribution will involve establishing clear ownership frameworks for all deliverables. This includes defining whether a solution will be team-owned (shared across the organization), co-owned (specific to a particular team), or designated for a natural handover to a long-term home. This structured approach ensures accountability and efficient resource allocation.

You will be expected to define clear success metrics at the outset of each project and iterate relentlessly until measurable adoption and key performance indicator (KPI) movement are achieved.
