📋 Description

• Lead technical discussions and presentations with enterprise clients to understand their architectural requirements and business needs related to API and AI connectivity.
• Demonstrate Kong’s platform through tailored proof-of-concept projects and custom demonstrations in System Integration, CI/CD, and DevOps environments.
• Apply deep expertise in AIOps and Kafka to guide customers in building scalable, observable, and automated API infrastructures.
• Provide expert guidance on SRE Observability strategies, helping clients monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize their API and AI agent ecosystems.
• Utilize proficiency in Linux, Docker, and Git to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in production and pre-production environments.
• Drive adoption of Automation Technology for API lifecycle management, including infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to translate customer feedback into product improvements and market-driven enhancements.
• Mentor junior solutions engineers and contribute to the team’s technical knowledge base through documentation, training, and peer reviews.
• Manage multiple concurrent customer projects, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high standards of technical accuracy and client satisfaction.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Stay current with AI trends, particularly in Agentic AI, orchestration tools, and agent-based architectures, to advise clients on next-generation connectivity solutions.
• Apply solid understanding of API Design and API Management principles, including authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, OIDC, and JWT.
• Implement and support Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using industry-standard tools and practices.
• Ensure alignment with Cybersecurity best practices across all customer deployments and architectural recommendations.
• Support the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from design and development through testing, deployment, and operational monitoring.
• Engage in hybrid work model from Kong’s Paris office, spending 2–3 days per week in-office.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a solutions engineering, technical architect, or similar customer-facing technical role
• Solid AIOps experience and/or Solid Kafka experience
• Demonstrated expertise in API Design and API Management principles and best practices
• Strong understanding of Authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OIDC, JWT, etc.) and Cybersecurity best practices
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems and containerization technologies like Docker
• Extensive experience with Git for version control and collaborative software development
