📋 Description

• • Lead end-to-end cross-functional formation of key fintech partnership initiatives, from ideation and concept validation through pilots to commercialization and scaling.
• • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging fintech trends, technologies, and market opportunities aligned to Velera’s strategic roadmap.
• • Assist in negotiating partnership terms including business cases, financial modeling, market sizing, and legal contract structures.
• • Serve as a cross-functional change agent to standardize a holistic approach to partnership commercialization across the organization.
• • Maintain deep understanding of competitive dynamics and partner needs within the fintech ecosystem.
• • Collaborate with Velera technology teams to orchestrate technical integration design for new products and services via fintech partnerships.
• • Translate user needs, market insights, and research into clear product requirements and strategic use cases.
• • Ensure commercialization readiness across training, operations, support, compliance, contracting, and delivery teams.
• • Track partner performance, risks, and dependencies, and communicate progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• • Curate and maintain strategic relationships with fintechs, clients, and technology providers to bring innovative capabilities into Velera’s ecosystem.
• • Champion a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning across the organization.

• • Understand the financial services industry, including credit unions, community banks, and network-based ecosystems.
• • Represent Velera professionally to external organizations within and outside the credit union system.

• • Present analytical findings in an impactful and concise manner to drive decision-making.
• • Willingness to occasionally travel to industry conferences.
• • Work with reseller, whitelabel, OEM, and referral contract structures with business partners.
• • Apply entrepreneurial thinking with a passion for innovation and customer-centric design.
• • Support the integration of fintech solutions into scalable offerings that unlock value across Velera’s network of 4,000+ financial institutions.
• • Ensure alignment of fintech partnerships with enterprise strategy, client needs, and competitive market pressures.
