📋 Description

• As an Engineering Manager at Masabi Ltd, you will lead two established engineering teams, ensuring continuity in delivery, people management, and team development while supporting the company’s mission to revolutionize fare payment for millions of riders worldwide.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include owning team delivery, leading agile rituals (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives), partnering with Product Managers on backlog shaping and priorities, collaborating with engineering peers on technical direction, maintaining system reliability and incident management, supporting team growth through 1:1s and feedback, fostering an inclusive culture, managing performance and wellbeing, providing stakeholder visibility on progress and risks, and contributing to hiring and onboarding as needed.
• Masabi is a global innovator in fare collection technology, powering the Justride platform used in over 250 locations worldwide, including partnerships with Uber, Moovit, and Transit. 🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams in a product-led, SaaS environment
• Background in software engineering with comfort engaging in technical discussions
• Proven ability to own delivery outcomes end-to-end, balancing quality, timelines, and stakeholder expectations
• People-focused leadership style with experience in coaching, mentoring, and supporting team growth
• Clear and confident communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfort working across teams and time zones, building strong relationships with Product and Engineering peers
• Ability to thrive in evolving priority environments, bringing clarity and structure when needed
• Leadership approach grounded in empathy, curiosity, and continuous improvement
