- • As an Engineering Manager at Clarium LLC, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for designing, building, and maintaining end-user facing features that power the company’s AI-powered healthcare platform, directly contributing to the mission of transforming hospital operations through intelligent workflow automation and actionable insights.
- • You will be accountable for technical direction, system design, and delivery of user-facing functionality while managing and developing engineers, ensuring the platform remains reliable, scalable, and aligned with business goals to reduce administrative burden on healthcare workers.
- • The Engineering team at Clarium collaborates closely with Product, Data, and cross-functional stakeholders to shape how users interact with the platform, combining deep technical expertise with a user-centric mindset to deliver high-quality, performant features that unlock efficiency for hospitals and their suppliers.
- • You will define the technical strategy for your team’s products, translating product requirements into actionable technical plans and driving projects from concept to production with high accountability, ensuring alignment between engineering execution and broader company objectives.
- • Day to day, you will lead technical execution including system design, architecture, and operational excellence to ensure quality, reliability, and scalability of user-facing features, while actively removing blockers and establishing processes that enable your team to move quickly and communicate effectively.
- • You will hire, mentor, and grow engineers on your team, providing clear and actionable feedback, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and psychological safety to retain top talent and elevate team performance.
- • You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Data, and Product teams to align technical solutions with business goals, serving as a strong collaborator who builds alignment across disciplines and keeps leadership informed through clear, actionable updates on progress, risks, and outcomes.
- • You will contribute hands-on to technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions using Python, React, and TypeScript, maintaining close proximity to the codebase to ensure technical credibility and effective mentorship.
- • You will champion operational excellence by establishing best practices in testing, deployment, monitoring, and incident response, ensuring the platform remains resilient and performant under real-world hospital workloads.
- • You will help shape the engineering culture at Clarium by promoting psychological safety, inclusivity, and innovation, enabling engineers to take ownership, experiment responsibly, and deliver impactful solutions that advance the company’s vision of AI-driven healthcare transformation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years leading engineers as an engineering manager
- • Hands-on experience with the core tech stack: Python, React, and TypeScript, including shipping production code and contributing to technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions
- • Proven ability to translate product requirements into technical plans and drive projects from concept to production with high accountability
- • Strong collaborator with excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences and aligning Engineering, Data, and Product teams
- • Experience leading teams building end-user facing features with a deep commitment to product quality, usability, and performance
