- • We are seeking three exceptional Engineering Managers to join our dynamic R&D division in Paris. This pivotal role is dedicated to "engineering the engineering machine" – a pure people management position focused on cultivating and scaling high-performing teams. If your passion lies in empowering engineers and fostering their growth rather than personal technical contributions, this role is for you. Reporting directly to our Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will be instrumental in shaping our engineering culture, standardizing global processes, and alleviating leadership bandwidth as we navigate a period of accelerated growth.
- • As an Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will span multiple critical areas. Primarily, you will serve as a dedicated people manager, guiding engineers through their career development, identifying training opportunities, and overseeing the performance review system. This involves regular one-on-one meetings, providing constructive feedback, and advocating for your team members' professional advancement. Your focus will be on nurturing talent and ensuring each engineer has the support and resources needed to excel.
- • Beyond individual mentorship, you will play a key role in shaping our organizational strategy. This includes contributing to the evolution of our organizational structure, potentially reorganizing modules, and initiating necessary changes to ensure seamless alignment with the overarching company vision. You will possess a strategic perspective, understanding how team structures and workflows impact overall project delivery and company objectives.
- • A significant aspect of your role will be process standardization. You will be tasked with establishing and refining robust work processes across our software and electrical engineering teams. The goal is to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality output without compromising our rapid execution speed. This involves identifying best practices, implementing them effectively, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- • You will also oversee our internal tooling demands. This requires making strategic "build vs. buy" decisions to ensure our engineers are equipped with the most efficient and effective tools available. Your insights will help optimize the engineering environment, reducing friction and maximizing productivity.
- • Recruitment leadership is another core responsibility. You will build and own the recruitment process, focusing on attracting and hiring top-tier "high-bar" talent. This involves collaborating with HR, defining technical and cultural fit criteria, and actively participating in the interview process to maintain the high standards of our engineering teams.
- • Finally, you will foster strong cross-functional collaboration. Working closely with Module Leads, HR, and the CTO, you will ensure a holistic and integrated view of the organization's needs. This collaborative approach is essential for identifying synergies, resolving interdependencies, and driving collective success.

- • A strong academic record in an Engineering discipline, demonstrating a solid theoretical foundation.
- • A "Y-shaped" career background, with significant hands-on engineering experience (Individual Contributor/Engineer) prior to transitioning into a dedicated people management role.
- • Proven experience in a senior-level leadership role, with a demonstrable track record of elevating team members and growing high-performing engineering teams.
- • Exceptional social and communication skills, adept at managing stakeholders effectively both upwards and downwards, and leading diverse groups of principals.
