- • As Engineering Manager at DualEntry Inc., you will lead and grow a high-performing engineering team while remaining hands-on in a fast-paced, AI-driven fintech startup. This role is critical to scaling the company’s mission of revolutionizing the $220B ERP market through AI-native solutions, directly impacting how accounting teams operate globally.
- • You will run agile ceremonies including planning, standups, and retrospectives; unblock engineers by removing distractions; partner closely with Product on roadmap prioritization and execution; drive delivery of major features and technical initiatives; design and review system architecture, APIs, and data models; and balance speed with scalability and long-term maintainability in a high-ownership environment.
- • DualEntry is a remote-first, EU-based company with overlap to NYC (EST), founded in 2024 and backed by $100M+ from top-tier investors including Lightspeed, Khosla, Contrary, and Google Ventures. The team comprises alumni from Ramp, Meta, Microsoft, Lyft, PwC, Deloitte, J.P. Morgan, Bloomberg, Sage, Xero, and Intuit, creating a high-density talent pool focused on moving fast with ownership and urgency.
- • In this role, you will mentor engineers, contribute to production code, shape technical direction, and grow alongside the company as an early team member. You’ll gain deep exposure to scaling AI-powered fintech systems, influence product strategy directly, and build legacy-defining infrastructure in an industry ripe for disruption.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping products at high velocity
- • 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including mentoring, performance management, and driving technical excellence
- • Strong proficiency in Python and React/Next.js, with demonstrated experience building scalable APIs and distributed systems
- • End-to-end ownership experience in leading projects or systems from conception to production, with clear written and verbal communication skills
- • Comfort operating in ambiguous, high-ownership environments with a hardcore work ethic and high agency; fintech background is a plus
