- • As an Engineering Manager at GoTo, you will lead a high-performing engineering team within the Customer Support Platform (CSP) team of the Digital Workplace division, directly contributing to the development and operation of enterprise-grade software that enables scalable, reliable, and high-quality customer support experiences for millions of users worldwide. Your leadership will be pivotal in translating technical vision into tangible outcomes, ensuring that the team delivers solutions that solve real customer problems with a focus on quality, operational excellence, and innovation—particularly in the thoughtful application of AI to drive practical value.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include people leadership through coaching, career development, regular 1:1s, and guiding team members through shifting priorities with clear, empathetic communication; overseeing delivery and execution across projects and operational work in an agile environment to ensure priorities are transparent, progress is measurable, and commitments are consistently met; driving operational excellence by fostering shared ownership of deployments, monitoring, incident response, and failure analysis to continuously improve system reliability and team maturity; and acting as a key stakeholder partner by collaborating closely with architects, product managers, project managers, and senior leaders to align on technical design, prioritize work effectively, and communicate complex technical concepts in accessible, outcome-focused terms.

🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of hands-on experience as a people manager or engineering team lead
- • 3+ years of hands-on software development experience, including proficiency in Java
- • Experience working in agile environments (Scrum and/or Kanban)
- • Experience delivering and supporting enterprise-level software products
- • Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
