- • Lead the Scoring Squad as an Engineering Manager, serving as a Player-Coach who architects systems alongside the team while driving technical excellence and team growth in translating nutrition science into personalized biological scores for members.
- • Own the technical roadmap and system design for the Scoring domain, ensuring the science-to-app pipeline is scalable, performant, and accurate during global expansion, while partnering with Product and Science to productionize complex research models.
- • Drive the professional growth of 3 engineers by moving them from task execution to high-autonomy delivery through consistent coaching, performance management, and fostering technical and professional impact.
- • Join a distributed team of 40+ engineers, reporting to an Engineering Director and leading a cross-functional Scoring Squad of back-end, mobile, and data specialists, operating in a tight trio with Product and Design using radical candor and startup speed.
- • Work with a cutting-edge stack including Kotlin, Python (for ML services), React Native, Google Cloud Platform, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, and Terraform to build reliable, user-facing insights from research-grade logic.
- • Thrive in a high-growth environment by balancing perfect architecture with startup speed, using data to identify bottlenecks and validate technical decisions while ensuring 100% accuracy in biological scoring as the member base scales globally.
- • Bridge clinical research and seamless member experience by ensuring biological data is transformed into actionable truth, contributing to the world’s largest nutrition science project.

- • Expert engineering background with hands-on experience in distributed systems and API design, comfortable diving into codebases and performing complex PR reviews.
- • Proven track record leading small teams, delivering constructive feedback, navigating performance cycles, and helping engineers level up technical and professional impact.
- • Experience turning research-grade logic into reliable, user-facing insights, using data to identify bottlenecks and validate technical decisions.
- • Ability to balance architectural excellence with startup speed to ship and learn in a high-growth environment.
- • Strong collaboration skills to act as the primary technical partner for Nutrition Science and Data Science teams, bridging science-speak with high-performance engineering.
