- • Lead and coach a team of software engineers delivering secure, scalable features for enterprise customers while partnering with Product and Design to scope, prioritize, and deliver solutions.
- • Own technical debt roadmap, drive adoption of AI-powered development workflows (e.g., Claude Code), and maintain processes supporting async, remote-first collaboration across global teams.
- • Represent team to leadership and cross-functional partners, recruit and retain diverse engineering talent, and foster team health through regular 1:1s, feedback, and career growth advocacy.

🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of experience in an engineering management role leading teams of senior individual contributors (tech lead experience with people outcomes counts).
- • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails at production scale, including ability to review architecture decisions and manage technical debt.
- • Demonstrated proficiency with AI-assisted and agentic development workflows, including personal use and team-wide rollout of tools like Claude Code.
- • Proven coaching ability with a track record of growing engineers, promoting skill development, and delivering specific, kind feedback.
- • Clear, compelling communicator skilled in representing technical teams to non-technical audiences, especially in writing for remote-first collaboration.
- • Experience designing and operating distributed systems, APIs, and web applications with familiarity in logging, monitoring, and incident response.
