- • Lead the Engineering team responsible for building and scaling APIs, integrations, and tooling that power Reddit’s off-platform ads signals ecosystem, including inbound data collection and outbound measurement/reporting products.
- • Own the technical vision and roadmap for Ads Advanced Signals, driving the evolution of systems that enable advertisers to measure and optimize performance using Reddit’s conversion signals and partner integrations.
- • Drive adoption of Reddit’s Conversions API by designing and improving developer experiences for external partners and advertisers integrating with Reddit’s advertising platform.
- • Manage end-to-end execution of team initiatives, prioritizing planned projects and emergent business needs while ensuring consistent, predictable delivery of high-quality outputs.
- • Coach and empower Tech Leads and engineers to operate autonomously, providing mentorship on project management, technical decision-making, and risk identification.
- • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Data Science, Sales, Solutions, and Business Engineering to align technical work with advertiser outcomes and revenue goals.
- • Establish and track team goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with company-wide priorities and measurable impact on the ads business.
- • Develop and implement processes and tooling to improve product quality, system reliability, and adherence to SLAs and customer requirements.
- • Serve as a strategic thought partner to product and executive leadership, challenging prioritization decisions and communicating team progress to external stakeholders.
- • Identify, nurture, and develop engineering talent by creating personalized career development plans, pushing team members beyond their comfort zones, and cultivating future leaders.
- • Become a domain expert in digital advertising, including conversion tracking, mobile measurement partnerships, and measurement vendor integrations, to inform technical strategy and stakeholder alignment.
- • Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and innovation by encouraging ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement across the team.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams and at least 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
- • Experience in the ads domain, particularly with conversion signals, signals integrations, mobile measurement partner integrations, and measurement vendor integrations
- • Proven experience partnering with product managers and designers to build new products
- • Strategic thinking: ability to develop and communicate a clear technical strategy aligned with broader company objectives
- • Impact-driven mindset focused on scalable, well-designed solutions that drive business value
- • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and build strong cross-functional relationships
