Engineering Manager, Computer Vision

📋 Description

• • Lead and grow a high-performing ML Vision team responsible for advancing Flock’s license plate recognition and vehicle intelligence models, driving innovation in computer vision to improve accuracy, robustness, and generalization across real-world conditions.
• • Architect and guide improvements in model performance, oversee the full ML lifecycle from data strategy to deployment and monitoring, and balance innovation with operational excellence to ensure scalable, reliable production systems.
• • Partner cross-functionally with product, hardware, and platform teams to align technical roadmap with business impact, while mentoring engineers through technical leadership, code reviews, and structured feedback to foster a culture of ownership and continuous learning.
• • Develop deep expertise in deploying computer vision systems at scale, influence Flock’s long-term ML strategy, and grow both technically and as a leader in a high-impact, mission-driven public safety company backed by $700M in funding and a $7.5B valuation.
