- • Lead a team of frontend and backend engineers focused on self-serve products like Console and Product Playground to drive product-led growth strategy and enhance developer experience.
- • Oversee technical design, task decomposition, daily standups, and feature delivery while collaborating with Product, Sales, and Marketing on roadmap and go-to-market initiatives.
- • Foster a high-velocity, AI-first culture where experimentation, rapid iteration, and continuous learning are expected and rewarded.
- • Mentor and coach engineers through 1-on-1s, support career development, and help the team navigate startup constraints like rapid scaling and fundraising cycles.
- • Deepgram is a leader in Voice AI, powering real-time speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and voice agents for over 200,000 developers and 1,300+ organizations, backed by $215M in funding from top-tier investors.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience managing and leading software engineering teams in fast-paced, early-stage startup environments.
- • Strong technical background in building scalable user-facing applications, with hands-on experience in software architecture and implementation.
- • Familiarity with AI-native development, including LLMs, agentic systems (e.g., MCP servers), and integrating model APIs as core product components.
- • Experience driving product-led growth in developer tools, such as optimizing activation funnels, in-product upgrades, and usage-based pricing.
- • Passion for engineering excellence, emerging technologies (e.g., Rust, Postgres, GPUs), and improving team processes through innovation.
