• • As the Engineering Manager of the Delivery Team at Onebrief Inc., you will be at the forefront of ensuring the seamless and secure transition of software from development to production. This pivotal role involves leading a cross-functional team of Platform, Software, and Application Security Engineers, granting you ownership over the entire delivery pipeline. Your responsibilities will encompass all systems and standards critical for release orchestration and security automation, enabling Onebrief to deploy reliably in mission-critical environments. The success of your team directly impacts the confidence with which engineers can ship their code, the predictability of deployments across various environments, and the overall security and compliance posture of our software. This position demands constant communication, astute technical judgment, unwavering discipline, and a profound sense of ownership, reporting directly to the Director of Infrastructure.
• • In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in leading and nurturing a multidisciplinary team of engineers, fostering an environment that upholds the highest standards of ownership, execution, and operational excellence. A core aspect of your day-to-day will involve taking full ownership of the intricate systems and robust engineering practices that underpin our CI/CD processes, release automation, and comprehensive environment management across the entire organization. You will be responsible for establishing clear, company-wide standards, in close collaboration with other directorates, to ensure releases are thoroughly tested, that effective rollback procedures are in place, and that operational readiness is consistently met, thereby empowering teams to ship software safely and with predictable outcomes. A significant focus will be placed on integrating security controls directly into the software delivery lifecycle. This includes the implementation and oversight of Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), dependency scanning, artifact integrity checks, and robust policy enforcement mechanisms, ensuring that security is a foundational element of our delivery process.
• • Furthermore, your leadership will drive initiatives to significantly reduce deployment risks, dramatically shorten recovery times in the event of issues, and establish unambiguous operational expectations concerning release quality, system uptime, and effective incident response protocols. You will actively partner with a diverse range of technical teams, providing essential support for reusable tooling, assisting with disparate deployment patterns, and developing repeatable workflows that enhance delivery efficiency without introducing unnecessary bottlenecks. A key objective will be to build sophisticated systems and streamlined processes that meticulously support traceability, enforce stringent access control, manage changes effectively, and meet the rigorous compliance requirements inherent in our regulated customer environments. This involves creating an auditable and controlled pathway for all software changes.
