Engineering Manager, GPTN Integrations

📋 Description

• • As an Engineering Manager for GPTN Integrations at Stripe, you will lead a team of backend engineers responsible for building and maintaining the core orchestration layer and internal storage primitives that power reliable, safe, compliant, and programmable movement and storage of funds within Stripe’s ecosystem.
• • Day to day, you will demonstrate strong first principles thinking when approaching complex problems and system design, manage a team of ambitious backend engineers ranging from new grads to staff with 0-4+ years of tenure at Stripe, foster a healthy team culture with high trust, autonomy, and psychological safety, lead and manage processes to help the team do their best work and engage effectively with the rest of Stripe, and collaborate with product and infra engineering teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
• • You will be part of the Money as a Service (MaaS) organization, which oversees a diverse portfolio of Stripe’s core products and platforms including Accounts and Connect, Money Movement and Storage (MMS), Crypto and Banking as a Service (BaaS), all working to ensure Stripe users have robust financial infrastructure and tools to power their businesses globally.
• • In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow as a technical leader by driving clarity with staff engineers on architecture and technical strategy, making calculated risks to deliver results without compromising reliability, and contributing to key company OKRs such as Global Payouts, Payments Orchestration, the new Financial Accounts dashboard, and Stripe Balance Payments.
