- • Lead the talent strategy for your organization by recruiting, onboarding, and developing top-tier engineers and managers, building a diverse team with robust succession plans for sustained velocity.
- • Build and scale a high-performing engineering organization by setting goals, establishing career paths, running performance and compensation processes, and cultivating a culture of ownership, inclusion, and excellence.
- • Coach and grow your team through regular feedback, performance management, and career development plans, while supporting hiring and onboarding to scale sustainably.
- • Drive cross-functional execution with stakeholders across Compliance/Legal, Risk, Operations, Support, and other engineering teams, effectively communicating progress, insights, and business impact to executive leadership and key partners across the company.
- • Foster strong collaboration between your team and local/global engineering, infrastructure, and product teams, while providing strategic leadership for a mission-critical platform — aligning technical direction and capacity planning with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- • This role is based in San Francisco.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3+ years in a leadership role managing high-performing teams (small to mid-sized).
- • Proven ability to recruit, onboard, and develop top-tier engineers, including building succession plans and career ladders.
- • Experience running performance and compensation processes and fostering an inclusive, high-accountability engineering culture.
- • Ability to navigate ambiguity, make technical tradeoffs, and align engineering efforts with business objectives and success metrics.
- • Excellent skills in translating technical concepts for stakeholders across Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Executive leadership.
- • Track record of building API- and integration-heavy systems in production environments.
