- • As Engineering Manager for the Growth Engineering Team at 1Password, you will lead the team responsible for powering self-serve experiences, experimentation infrastructure, and data-driven feedback loops across B2B product suites, directly enabling product-led growth at a company that has surpassed $400M in ARR and earned four consecutive years on the Forbes Cloud 100.
- • You will partner with Product, Design, and Data to translate growth strategy into engineering execution, ensuring reliable delivery of experimentation and self-serve initiatives while maintaining the high bar for security, performance, and reliability expected in an enterprise cybersecurity environment.
- • You will lead, coach, and grow a high-performing engineering team by fostering psychological safety, ownership, and continuous improvement, supporting career development through mentorship and feedback, and hiring engineers who thrive in fast-paced, outcome-driven environments.
- • You will partner with senior and staff engineers to evolve experimentation infrastructure (feature flags, instrumentation, analytics), identify and mitigate technical risks from rapid experimentation, and ensure growth initiatives integrate cleanly across product surfaces and shared systems.
- • You will own delivery outcomes for complex, cross-functional initiatives, align stakeholders around priorities and trade-offs, and measure success through measurable impact, helping shape how 1Password accelerates product-led growth and embeds experimentation into the fabric of the product.
- • You will contribute to a culture that values honesty, simplicity, and putting people first, while embracing AI as a tool for learning and innovation, and participating in a remote-first environment that values in-person connection through occasional offsites and team meetings.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience managing, leading, and mentoring software engineering teams
- • Experience leading teams that build customer-facing SaaS products and technical platforms
- • Strong technical judgment and experience partnering with engineering teams on architecture and system design
- • Demonstrated success owning delivery outcomes for complex, cross-functional initiatives
- • Track record of building and scaling high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative teams
- • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
