📋 Description

• • As an Engineering Manager on Stripe’s Issuing team, you will lead engineers building the infrastructure and features that power card programs and financial features for businesses worldwide, enabling real-time transaction authorization and money movement.
• • Day to day, you will provide full-stack ownership by guiding your team across systems and technologies, drive operational excellence through effective engineering processes, partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, Data Science, Operations, Partnerships, and Marketing, mentor engineers to advance their careers, and lead strategic recruiting efforts to hire top talent.
• • The Issuing team at Stripe creates the core infrastructure, user-facing experiences, and partner integrations for managing the full card lifecycle—from authorization through clearing and settlement—supporting high-growth use cases across fintechs, enterprises, and verticals like Buy Now Pay Later, SaaS, marketplaces, and expense management.
• • In this role, you will develop leadership and technical strategy skills, deepen expertise in financial infrastructure and distributed systems, grow your ability to scale high-performing teams, and contribute to one of Stripe’s fastest-growing businesses while advancing your career in engineering management.
