Engineering Manager - Marketplace

📋 Description

• • Lead and develop the software components and architecture for Scaleway’s new Marketplace platform from scratch, managing the creation and distribution of core artifacts like OS and container images to deliver a scalable, diverse, and high-performance product offering.
• • Design and implement backend services using Go and SQL, develop and maintain robust APIs, architect distributed systems with microservices, and ensure code quality through rigorous testing and documentation while collaborating cross-functionally with Core Engineering and Product teams.
• • Join a collaborative, international team at Scaleway, a European cloud leader backed by the Iliad Group’s €3B investment in sovereign AI, where you will start as the first engineer and grow the Marketplace engineering team to 5–10 members under the guidance of Product Management and Engineering leadership.
• • Build technical leadership and hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, artifact lifecycle management, and scalable system design while mentoring future team members and shaping the technical vision of a strategic new product in a fast-evolving, startup-style environment.
