- • Lead Team Pegasus, responsible for the Awin Mobile App and its backend platform, focusing on the creator-focused mobile app and its supporting services.
- • Coach and mentor engineers, drive recruitment and onboarding, conduct performance reviews, and foster career development and team growth.
- • Collaborate with Product and UX to define team objectives and OKRs, enable ownership of the software delivery lifecycle, and champion AI-assisted development workflows.
- • Facilitate team discussions, resolve conflicts, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the strategic direction of the Engineering Management group.
- • Work across Berlin, Iași, München, and Warsaw locations in a hybrid/remote setup with a focus on servant leadership and continuous improvement.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, or equivalent leadership role with a servant-leadership and empowering management style.
- • Deep, hands-on experience building and shipping mobile applications in a commercial setting, ideally with experience launching and scaling apps.
- • Strong product mindset, comfortable collaborating with Product and UX on discovery and shaping outcomes, not just executing requirements.
- • Backend and cloud literacy sufficient to lead the Platform team (backend, API, AWS).
- • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development, code generation, and agentic coding workflows to accelerate delivery.
- • Strong communicator across technical and non-technical audiences, able to adapt language based on the audience.
- • Comfortable working in an Agile setup (Scrum or Kanban), facilitating ceremonies and supporting the team through change.
