- • As an Engineering Manager for New Verticals at Rula Health, you will lead the creation and scaling of innovative product lines that expand access to mental healthcare, directly supporting the company’s mission to treat the whole person by integrating mental health into overall well-being through evidence-based, compassionate care.
- • You will lead a cross-functional team of backend, full-stack, and frontend engineers to design, build, and launch new user experiences from concept to production, translating product strategy into scalable, reliable systems that drive measurable business outcomes in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- • You will partner closely with Product and Design to ensure technical execution aligns with user needs and business goals, fostering collaboration that balances speed, quality, and innovation while maintaining system reliability and performance at scale.
- • You will establish engineering standards, promote accountability, and mentor engineers to elevate their technical and professional growth, creating a high-performing culture where delivery velocity and technical excellence coexist.
- • You will operate in a mission-driven organization committed to reducing stigma around mental health, where your work directly contributes to expanding access to care for underserved populations and improving lives through technology-enabled healthcare solutions.
- • You will have the opportunity to shape the technical foundation of new product verticals from 0 to 1, gaining deep experience in launching B2B-integrated health tech products in a regulated industry, while developing leadership skills in hyper-growth SaaS environments.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years managing engineers
- • Proven track record of delivering production software at scale in a fast-paced environment
- • Strong technical foundation in web application architecture, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
- • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially working cross-functionally with Product and Design
- • Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and delivery velocity across multiple initiatives
