• • As the Engineering Manager for the Ordering team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our dental ordering systems. This team is dedicated to building and maintaining best-in-class solutions that streamline the complex process of ordering a wide array of dental products, including restoratives, implants, and removables. By adopting a deeply user-centric approach to software development, we have successfully created seamless and intuitive customer experiences that have already facilitated millions of orders within our first few years, with volumes continuing to grow exponentially.
• • Your leadership will be instrumental in supporting Dandy’s overarching mission to become the indispensable partner for dental groups globally. You will achieve this by enabling dental practices to send us all of their cases, regardless of complexity, through simple and intuitive ordering workflows. This role requires a leader who can inspire and guide a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• • You will be responsible for driving the end-to-end execution of projects, spanning the entire technology stack. This includes everything from the initial conceptualization and scoping phases through to ensuring robust production reliability and performance. Your ability to make pragmatic technical decisions will be crucial, helping your team strike the right balance between delivering features rapidly, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring long-term system maintainability.
• • A core aspect of your role will be owning the delivery, accountability, and operational excellence for the systems developed by your team. This encompasses proactive monitoring, incident response, and continuous optimization to ensure our ordering platforms are always available and performing optimally for our users.
• • You will be a key player in talent acquisition and development. This includes actively recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring talented engineers to build a cohesive, inclusive, and highly skilled team.
