📋 Description
- • Lead the Plug and Play (Integrations) engineering squad at Nory AI, shaping the foundation of the company’s integration platform to enable scalable, self-serve integrations that reduce onboarding time and improve data quality for AI-driven restaurant operations.
- • Drive team outcomes by setting technical direction, coaching engineers, ensuring delivery discipline, and maintaining high engineering standards while partnering closely with Product, Data, Design, and Customer teams to solve real operational problems.
- • Join a fast-growing, remote-first company of 80+ people across Ireland, the UK, Spain, and New York, backed by a Series B led by Kinnevik, on a mission to fix hospitality through AI-powered operational intelligence that boosts margins, reduces waste, and empowers restaurant teams.
- • Grow as a technical leader by shaping team culture, defining ways of working for a young team (<1 year old), guiding architecture, reviewing code, and gaining end-to-end ownership of complex integration challenges including OpenAPI endpoints and marketplace flows.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience leading an engineering squad with accountability for team outcomes, health, and delivery.
- • Demonstrated ability to coach engineers through structured 1:1s, feedback, and development of technical and product capabilities.
- • Track record of delivering meaningful, cross-functional initiatives (Engineering, Product, Design, Data) with measurable customer or commercial impact.
- • Strong product judgement and ability to make pragmatic trade-offs with Product to focus on outcomes over output.
- • Technical credibility as an experienced engineer capable of guiding architectural decisions, reviewing code, and unblocking team blockers.
- • Systems thinking skills to reason about scale, reliability, data flow, and long-term maintainability in growing products.
