- • Lead and cultivate a high-performing team of full-stack software engineers dedicated to the development and scaling of SentiLink's flagship customer-facing SaaS product, Intercept.
- • Drive exceptional execution throughout the entire software development lifecycle, encompassing meticulous sprint planning, strategic prioritization of features and bug fixes, ensuring predictable delivery timelines, and upholding rigorous technical quality standards.
- • Actively recruit, mentor, and foster the professional growth of engineers, maintaining an exceptionally high bar for talent acquisition and team development.
- • Collaborate closely with senior engineers to architect and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable system designs for both application services and user-facing features, ensuring long-term robustness and efficiency.
- • Play a pivotal role in shaping architectural decisions, providing technical guidance, and contributing to the strategic, long-term evolution of the Intercept platform and its underlying technologies.
- • Contribute directly to the codebase through hands-on coding, code reviews, and technical problem-solving, ensuring a deep understanding of the product's technical intricacies and maintaining engineering velocity.
- • Champion and enforce high standards for code quality, comprehensive testing methodologies, production reliability, and robust observability practices, ensuring the stability and performance of our applications.
- • Oversee and ensure operational excellence, including proactive incident response, effective root cause analysis, and the continuous improvement of production system reliability.
- • Forge strong partnerships with Product Management to translate high-level roadmap priorities into actionable, well-defined engineering plans, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution.
- • Collaborate effectively with Data Science and Infrastructure teams to seamlessly integrate machine learning models, critical services, and complex data systems into the product experience, enhancing SentiLink's analytical and operational capabilities.
- • Continuously refine and optimize core engineering processes, including CI/CD pipelines, code review workflows, testing strategies, and overall developer velocity, to maximize team efficiency and output.
- • Cultivate and nurture a team culture that embodies a strong sense of ownership, unwavering accountability, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- • Take ownership of two additional critical applications, one internal and one external-facing, ensuring their continued development, usability, and technical integrity, complementing the primary focus on Intercept.
- • Deeply engage with the technical aspects of the role, remaining hands-on with coding, architectural reviews, and unblocking complex technical challenges, embodying the principle of being a fundamentally strong software engineer who also excels at people leadership.
- • Ensure the Intercept platform, along with the associated tools and dashboards, provides an intuitive, performant, and reliable user experience for SentiLink's diverse customer base, from initial risk investigation to ongoing activity monitoring.
- • Drive the technical vision for the product engineering team, aligning it with SentiLink's overall business strategy and growth objectives, ensuring that technology is a key enabler of market leadership.
- • Foster an environment where innovation is encouraged, and engineers are empowered to explore and implement cutting-edge solutions to complex identity and risk verification challenges.
- • Manage the full product lifecycle for the Intercept application and related tools, from conception and design through development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance and iteration.
- • Act as a key technical liaison between the engineering team and other departments, including Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing, ensuring a unified approach to product delivery and customer satisfaction.
- • Implement and refine best practices for agile development, ensuring the team can adapt quickly to changing market demands and customer feedback.
- • Contribute to the strategic planning of SentiLink's technology stack, making informed decisions about technology choices, infrastructure, and tooling to support future growth and scalability.
- • Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary tools, training, and support to excel in their roles and deliver exceptional results.
- • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and industry trends in identity verification and risk management, translating this knowledge into product and technical strategies.
