• • Lead a high-performing team of Software Engineers focused on developing and enhancing Testlio's core Platform work management capabilities, including features related to Tests, Issues, Tasks, and Runs.
• • Drive the design and delivery of innovative, AI-powered features and systems that directly impact user experience and contribute to significant business outcomes, solidifying Testlio's leadership in quality software testing services.
• • Play a pivotal role in product discovery, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, internal teams, and freelance contributors to gain a deep understanding of product challenges and user needs, moving beyond simple feature requests to influence both technical strategy and product direction.
• • Champion the integration of the latest AI advancements into solutions, aiming to automate tasks, generate valuable insights, and significantly boost testing efficiency, positioning Testlio at the forefront of innovation in the testing industry.
• • Foster a culture of operational discipline within the team, ensuring all work is meticulously labeled and traced, and that the Definition of Done (DoD) is strictly adhered to, thereby minimizing escaped defects and maintaining high product quality.
• • Actively participate in and drive Scrum rituals, backlog prioritization, and technical design reviews, striking a crucial balance between rapid iteration cycles and the long-term scalability and maintainability of the platform.
• • Oversee and manage multiple concurrent projects that are integral to the core product, contributing directly to its ongoing growth and evolution.
• • Collaborate extensively with cross-functional stakeholders across the business to translate complex problems into actionable, impactful engineering tasks, taking full ownership of solutions from their initial concept through to successful deployment.
• • Promote a strong culture of observability by defining clear Service Level Objectives (SLOs), developing comprehensive dashboards to monitor system performance (e.g., database query speeds, error rates), and leading thorough root-cause analysis for any production incidents that may arise.
• • Manage the operational efficiency of the team’s services, including diligent monitoring of cloud costs and ensuring that infrastructure resources are utilized optimally to maintain cost-effectiveness and performance.
• • Mentor and coach individual engineers, supporting their growth in both technical expertise and product-thinking capabilities, with a particular emphasis on adopting and leveraging AI-assisted development workflows (such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot) to enhance the overall developer experience.
• • Utilize metrics and data-driven insights to inform critical decision-making processes and continuously optimize team performance and output.
• • Advocate for and implement continuous learning practices, including rigorous code reviews, cross-training initiatives, and robust documentation standards, to eliminate knowledge silos and build a resilient, adaptable team.
