  • • As an Engineering Manager at Vivun, you will play a pivotal role in leading and nurturing a high-performing, geographically distributed engineering team. Your primary focus will be on advancing the cutting edge of AI-driven sales technology. This role demands a leader who can ensure team execution and deliver exceptional outcomes, working in close partnership with Product Management and other cross-functional leaders to translate ambitious strategic objectives into robust, scalable, and reliable product delivery.
  • • You will be instrumental in coaching and developing engineers, fostering their professional growth through regular one-on-one meetings, constructive feedback, and effective performance management. Beyond people leadership, you will also provide hands-on technical guidance, influencing key architectural decisions, system design, and the adoption of AI-native product development practices. This includes championing methodologies for rapid experimentation, rigorous evaluation, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability across all AI-driven features and services.

  • • Key responsibilities include growing and building a high-performing, diverse engineering team through strategic recruitment, effective hiring processes, and comprehensive onboarding and training programs. You will be responsible for coaching engineers on their daily tasks and long-term career aspirations, conducting regular one-on-one meetings, and conducting performance evaluations with clearly defined, actionable goals that challenge individuals, the team, and the company.
  • • You will collaborate closely with the Product team to define goals, establish milestones, refine requirements, and optimize the sequencing of development efforts, ensuring strong alignment across engineering teams. Providing robust technical leadership and setting the strategic direction for our architecture and technology stack will be crucial to ensure the team and systems can perform effectively at scale.
  • • Accountability for team plans, deliverables, and overall execution will be a central tenet of your role. You will lead the charge in adopting and refining AI-native development practices, supporting rapid iteration cycles with strong guardrails in place to enable teams to ship, measure, and continuously improve AI experiences.
  • • Driving quality and reliability for AI-powered experiences will be paramount, achieved by promoting rigorous evaluation, comprehensive testing strategies, proactive monitoring, and establishing effective feedback loops derived from real-world usage. You will foster a culture of deep empathy for our users, maintaining a high bar for excellence to ensure teams deliver products that not only solve critical problems but also delight our users.
