📋 Description

• • Lead the Elements team at FundraiseUp Inc., a global fundraising platform powering tens of millions in donations monthly for leading nonprofits like UNICEF and the Alzheimer’s Association. As Engineering Team Leader, you will drive the development of embedded widgets (elements) that nonprofits integrate into their websites to boost donations and display impact—directly contributing to the company’s mission of making giving fast, seamless, and accessible worldwide.
• • Day to day, you will lead a team of 3-5 Fullstack developers, writing and reviewing code with a 70/30 split favoring management responsibilities. You’ll own feature delivery, enforce engineering guidelines, make technical decisions using Node.js, Preact, TypeScript, MongoDB, Cloudflare Workers, and Kafka, manage technical debt, mentor engineers through regular 1:1s, onboard new hires, conduct performance reviews, and align work with neighboring teams and leadership.
• • Join a distributed engineering team of 80+ engineers across Spain, Poland, Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Turkey, and Cyprus, where deep technical curiosity, knowledge sharing, and product-minded engineering are core values. Despite scale, the team operates with focus, transparency, and mutual respect—where every task matters and every voice is heard in a culture that prioritizes quality, mentorship, and collaboration.
• • In this role, you will grow as a technical leader by shaping architecture, influencing product direction, and strengthening team capabilities.
