📋 Description
- • As an Engineering Tech Lead on vMetal at Loft Labs, you will lead the technical direction of a platform that transforms bare metal hardware into a programmable infrastructure layer, enabling customers to spin up tenant clusters on physical servers.
- • Day to day, you will own architecture decisions for vMetal, design and ship Go-based services for Redfish, IPMI, and PXE workflows, automate hardware lifecycle management, and mentor engineers while setting technical standards for code quality and design.
- • You will join a venture-backed, remote-first team at vCluster Labs, a pioneer in Kubernetes virtualization for AI workloads, backed by Khosla Ventures and known for open-source leadership with vCluster and the Infrastructure Tenancy Platform for AI.
- • In this role, you will grow as a technical leader by shaping the future of bare-metal-as-a-service, bridging traditional server management with cloud-native patterns, and preparing for potential progression into engineering management or architecture roles as the team scales.
