• As an English Transcription Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and integrity of audio data that fuels cutting-edge AI models. Your meticulous attention to detail and deep understanding of the English language will be instrumental in transforming spoken words into precise, structured data.
• This is a remote position, offering the flexibility and autonomy to work from anywhere, allowing you to integrate your professional responsibilities seamlessly with your personal life.
• Your primary responsibility will be to transcribe audio files with exceptional accuracy and efficiency. This involves listening to recordings across a diverse range of topics, accents, and audio qualities, and converting the spoken content into written text.
• You will be expected to adhere to strict project guidelines and style guides, ensuring consistency and uniformity in all transcriptions. This includes accurately capturing nuances such as speaker identification, timestamps, non-speech events (e.g., laughter, background noise), and verbatim dialogue.
• A critical aspect of this role is quality assurance. You will be required to review and edit your own transcriptions, as well as potentially those of other annotators, to identify and correct any errors in transcription, grammar, punctuation, or adherence to guidelines.
• You will work with a variety of audio formats and lengths, from short voice notes to longer interviews and focus group discussions. The ability to maintain focus and productivity over extended periods is essential.
