- • Serve as an Enterprise Account Executive responsible for closing high-value SaaS deals with enterprise clients in the procurement technology space.
- • Act as a trusted advisor and product consultant, guiding prospects through a value-based sales cycle to demonstrate measurable ROI from Zip’s AI-powered procurement platform.
- • Proactively prospect and generate new business opportunities using your network, in addition to leveraging a steady pipeline of qualified leads from Business Development Representatives and marketing efforts.
- • Become a certified expert on the Zip platform, mastering its features, workflows, and AI agent capabilities to deliver compelling, tailored demos to enterprise buyers.
- • Develop deep expertise in enterprise procurement workflows, pain points, and industry trends to position Zip as the transformative solution for modern procurement teams.
- • Utilize advanced sales intelligence tools including Salesforce, Zoominfo, LinkedIn SalesNav, and Outreach to manage complex deal cycles, track engagement, and forecast pipeline accurately.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, customer success, and marketing to refine messaging, identify upsell opportunities, and shape the future direction of the product.
- • Contribute to building and evolving Zip’s sales process during a period of hypergrowth, bringing best practices from prior experience to scale the organization effectively.
- • Maintain a disciplined, organized approach to time management and pipeline hygiene, ensuring consistent progress across multiple enterprise accounts simultaneously.
- • Communicate clearly and persuasively with C-suite, procurement leaders, finance teams, and IT stakeholders to align Zip’s solution with strategic business objectives.
- • Embody an underdog mindset, taking ownership of outcomes, exceeding targets, and driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- • Represent Zip as a product evangelist by articulating not only current capabilities but also the long-term vision of AI-driven procurement transformation.
- • Participate in team-building events, company-wide initiatives, and culture-building activities to foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace.
- • Maintain a strong commitment to customer success, ensuring that every closed deal is the beginning of a long-term partnership rooted in trust and value.
- • Adapt quickly to evolving product features, market conditions, and internal processes as Zip scales from a startup to a market leader.
- • Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and accountability in achieving and exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of proven experience closing enterprise-level technology SaaS sales
- • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Technology, or a related field, or experiential equivalent
- • Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce, Zoominfo, LinkedIn SalesNav, and Outreach
- • Self-driven, highly organized, and an excellent communicator with strong time management skills
- • Willingness to go above and beyond to ensure customer, team, and company success
