📋 Description

  • Serve as the primary Enterprise Account Executive responsible for driving rapid growth of DeepL’s enterprise customer base across the APAC region, with a focus on Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and India.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from lead qualification and prospecting to closing deals and expanding existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients by understanding their language and communication challenges and positioning DeepL’s AI-powered translation and writing solutions as strategic business tools.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new enterprise business by identifying, engaging, and converting high-value prospects across APAC markets.
  • Conduct executive-level meetings with C-suite and senior decision-makers, including in-person engagements and regional travel across APAC to foster relationships and close deals.
  • Collaborate closely with regional partners and channel businesses to co-develop pipeline and accelerate revenue generation across the APAC territory.
  • Utilize Salesforce to accurately forecast, track, and report on all sales opportunities, including use cases, purchase timelines, and next steps, ensuring data integrity and reliable revenue projections.
  • Meet and exceed monthly activity, pipeline, and revenue targets while maintaining a disciplined focus on performance metrics and sales KPIs.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technology adoption patterns within enterprise markets in APAC to inform sales strategy and client conversations.
  • Work in close alignment with cross-functional teams including SDRs, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to ensure seamless customer experiences and effective go-to-market execution.
  • Represent DeepL as a product ambassador by demonstrating deep knowledge of the Language AI platform, its capabilities, and its impact on global business communication.
  • Deliver clear, persuasive presentations and demos tailored to enterprise stakeholders, translating technical features into tangible business value.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment, maintaining agility and resilience under dynamic market conditions.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, globally distributed team culture by supporting colleagues, sharing insights, and participating in team-wide initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in software or SaaS sales
  • Proven track record of selling into and expanding large enterprise accounts
  • Experience selling emerging technologies and acquiring new logos
  • Full fluency in English
  • Ability to collaborate with and orchestrate cross-functional teams
  • Strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
