  • • Sell 9amHealth’s AI-enabled virtual specialty care platform to large employer clients with 5,000 to 25,000 employees, driving new business in the employer benefits space.
  • • Lead end-to-end commercial sales cycles, from initial prospecting and pipeline development to negotiation and closing of deals with enterprise clients.
  • • Leverage existing relationships and market knowledge to identify and pursue strategic sales opportunities within the employer benefits and healthcare consulting industries.
  • • Collaborate with the Consultant Relations Team to generate leads and build partnerships with employer benefits consultants who influence purchasing decisions.
  • • Partner closely with the Sales Development Representative to uncover new market opportunities and execute targeted outreach strategies.
  • • Work with the National Partnerships Team to establish and nurture relationships with pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), health plans, and other reseller partners.
  • • Develop and refine a scalable adoption strategy for employer clients, independently executing go-to-market initiatives in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • • Navigate complex decision-making structures within large employers and benefits consulting firms to align 9amHealth’s offerings with client needs and procurement processes.
  • • Negotiate and close complex contracts with enterprise clients, health plans, and strategic partners, ensuring alignment with company goals and compliance standards.
  • • Contribute to the company’s growth by expanding 9amHealth’s presence in the employer benefits market and increasing adoption of virtual cardiometabolic care solutions for chronic conditions including obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia.
  • • Report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and play a key role in shaping the commercial strategy and market expansion of the company.
  • • Operate with an entrepreneurial spirit, taking ownership of territory and performance metrics in a high-growth, mission-driven organization.
  • • Engage with a globally distributed team while supporting a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation in digital health.
  • • Contribute to improving healthcare accessibility and affordability by helping employers provide cost-effective, specialized care to employees with chronic conditions.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas, preferably in the digital health or employer benefits space
  • • Established relationships with key decision-makers in the employer benefits and/or healthcare consulting industries
  • • Deep understanding of employer benefits ecosystems, including the decision-making processes within large employers and benefits consulting firms
  • • Ready to establish and refine a launch strategy for adoption within employers, while working independently to execute
  • • Strong leadership abilities and entrepreneurial spirit
  • • Expertise in negotiating complex contracts, particularly with large employers, partners, and strategic accounts
