  • • Sell Kong Enterprise Platform to enterprise customers across France, serving as the primary point of contact and face of Kong throughout the sales cycle.
  • • Own and manage a book of business, including identifying buying criteria, mapping decision-making processes, ensuring pipeline accuracy with documented evidence, and driving leads to closure.
  • • Meet and exceed individual sales quotas and objectives aligned with Kong’s growth plan for enterprise adoption.
  • • Lead account strategy in both pre- and post-sales phases, coordinating with technical and customer success teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and retention.
  • • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales wins and losses to refine messaging, positioning, and sales tactics for future opportunities.
  • • Travel to customer sites as required, with an expected frequency of 30% to 50% of working time.
  • • Leverage established relationships and proven enterprise sales methodologies to accelerate deal velocity and expand market penetration.
  • • Demonstrate deep understanding of enterprise software sales cycles, particularly in API, infrastructure, or open source technology markets.
  • • Communicate the value of Kong Konnect — the unified API and AI platform for securing, managing, accelerating, governing, and monetizing intelligence flows — to technical and executive stakeholders.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and engineering teams to align sales strategy with product roadmap and customer feedback.
  • • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, forecasting pipeline with precision and transparency.
  • • Adapt quickly to a fast-moving scale-up environment, thriving in ambiguity while driving structured sales processes.
  • • Advocate for customer success by ensuring enterprise clients derive measurable value from their investment in Kong’s platform.
  • • Represent Kong at industry events, customer meetings, and partner engagements to build brand credibility and expand network within the French enterprise market.
  • • Identify and pursue new enterprise accounts while nurturing existing relationships to drive expansion and upsell opportunities.
  • • Stay informed on competitive landscape, market trends, and evolving enterprise needs in API and AI connectivity.
