- • Own the end-to-end sales process for a portfolio of national and regional grocery and non-grocery retailers, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
- • Prospect strategic grocers and retailers by conducting customized outreach to Director, VP, and C-Level executives across their organizations.
- • Develop and present tailored strategies, business cases, and presentations to prospective partners to align with Shipt’s growth objectives.
- • Negotiate and sign new retail partnerships, as well as renew existing contracts with current retail partners.
- • Create and execute a strategic plan to identify and open new partnership opportunities that align with Shipt’s overall business strategy.
- • Build and maintain reliable sales forecasts based on pipeline activity and market conditions.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Partner Success, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Product, and Legal teams to ensure seamless partner onboarding and launch.
- • Represent Shipt as a industry leader at conferences, trade shows, and prospective partner meetings, with approximately 40% travel required.
- • Navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple internal and external stakeholders across diverse retail environments.
- • Translate ambiguity in evolving retail landscapes into actionable growth plans with an agile mindset.
- • Leverage data to inform sales decisions, influence stakeholders, and drive business outcomes.
- • Maintain a deep understanding of technology-driven changes in the retail and on-demand delivery industry.
- • Manage a diverse portfolio of retailers, each with unique operational goals and business nuances, requiring adaptability and strategic insight.
- • Demonstrate highly result-oriented behavior with a strategic business focus and strong deal-closing capabilities.
- • Apply adaptive mindset to respond to shifting market dynamics and partner needs.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5 years of Enterprise and/or National Account sales experience
- • Proven experience prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals with Director, VP, and C-Level executives
- • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- • Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time
- • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and storytelling skills to influence senior decision-makers
- • Ability to lead complex sales cycles across multiple internal and external departments
