  • • In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in expanding our enterprise customer base across key regions within the US Northeast. You will be a proactive, curious, and results-driven member of our dynamic Sales team, tasked with identifying net-new business opportunities and nurturing growth within existing accounts. Your ability to navigate complex, intrinsic sales cycles with foresight and strategic acumen will be crucial to your success and to dbt Labs' continued expansion.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to own the full sales cycle for enterprise prospects, from initial lead generation through to ensuring ongoing customer utilization and satisfaction. This involves deeply understanding customer needs, articulating the value proposition of dbt Cloud Enterprise, and guiding prospects through the evaluation and implementation process.
  • • A key aspect of this role will be organizing and managing Proof of Concept (POC) implementations of dbt Cloud Enterprise. You will work closely with prospective clients to ensure these POCs are successful, demonstrating the power and flexibility of our platform in solving their unique data challenges.
  • • We have ambitious growth targets, and you will be expected to close a significant number of new dbt Cloud Enterprise customers annually, aiming for 20 new logos post-ramp. This requires a consistent ability to identify, engage, and convert high-value enterprise accounts.
  • • Beyond individual sales achievements, you will be a contributor to the evolution of our sales strategy and processes. You will lead and participate in team projects aimed at refining our go-to-market approach, improving sales methodologies, and sharing best practices across the team.
  • • Collaboration with our Product team is essential. You will provide valuable market feedback and customer insights to help build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap, ensuring our product continues to meet the evolving needs of the enterprise market.
  • • To excel in this role, you will need to develop a deep expertise in SQL, the dbt ecosystem, and enterprise data operations. This knowledge will enable you to speak credibly with technical stakeholders and position dbt as a strategic solution.
  • • We foster a strong sense of community, and you will be encouraged to become an active member of the dbt open-source community. Engaging with users, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the broader ecosystem are integral to our culture and success.
