  • • Serve as a senior business specialist and technology generalist responsible for aligning Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) technology solutions with revenue cycle business strategies.
  • • Proactively identify opportunities to apply Epic Resolute PB technology to improve business processes, including claims management, remittance processing, and system optimization.
  • • Act as a technical liaison and broker of services between internal teams, external vendors, and IT departments to ensure seamless system integration and operational efficiency.
  • • Build, maintain, and optimize the Epic Claims Module, including configuration and management of CDF Dictionary and related data structures.
  • • Process and reconcile remits within Epic Resolute Professional Billing, ensuring accurate and timely financial reconciliation.
  • • Collaborate with clearinghouses to ensure smooth electronic claims submission, error resolution, and payment posting.
  • • Translate complex technical concepts related to Epic systems into clear, actionable insights for non-technical business stakeholders and end users.
  • • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, technical specifications, and process workflows for Epic PB implementations and enhancements.
  • • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills when interacting with IT personnel, clinical teams, finance departments, and external vendors.
  • • Apply analytical and conceptual skills to solve multi-environment business problems spanning billing, claims, and revenue cycle operations.
  • • Understand how IT systems impact organizational workflows and leverage this knowledge to redesign and improve business processes.
  • • Participate in cross-functional project teams to plan, organize, and execute system implementations from vision through deployment, coordinating internal staff, contractors, and vendors.
  • • Maintain credibility and effective working relationships with customer management and IT leadership to ensure alignment on strategic goals.
  • • Stay current with Epic Resolute PB system updates, industry best practices, and regulatory changes affecting professional billing and claims.
  • • Support business process re-engineering initiatives using information systems to drive operational efficiency and cost reduction.
  • • Utilize strategic technology applications to support business growth and revenue cycle performance.
  • • Demonstrate flexibility, collaboration, and enthusiasm as a team player in a fast-paced, mission-driven healthcare environment.
  • • Apply project management principles to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a complex, cross-departmental healthcare IT environment.
  • • Leverage HL7 interface knowledge (preferred) to facilitate data exchange between Epic and external systems.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) Certification or Epic Resolute Professional Billing Claims Certification required
  • • Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Epic Professional Billing systems
  • • Experience building and maintaining the Epic Claims Module (including CDF Dictionary)
  • • Experience processing remits within Epic and working with healthcare clearinghouses
  • • Strong technical communication skills to bridge IT and business teams
