- • As an Equipment Development Engineer at Solenis, you will play a critical role in designing and bringing to market innovative equipment solutions that support the company’s water treatment and pulp/paper business lines, directly contributing to improved operational efficiency, sustainability, and safety for industrial customers worldwide.
- • You will lead end-to-end equipment development projects from concept through launch, collaborating with commercial, vendor, and internal launch teams to ensure new offerings meet market needs, are manufacturable, and align with Solenis’ quality and safety standards.
- • You will be part of a global engineering team within a Fortune 1000 specialty chemicals company recognized as a 2025 Best Managed Company Gold Standard honoree, operating across 78 manufacturing sites in over 160 countries with a workforce of ~23,000 professionals dedicated to advancing water and hygiene solutions.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in mechanical systems design, cross-functional project leadership, and industrial equipment innovation while gaining exposure to cutting-edge applications in water treatment, paper manufacturing, and process optimization—positioning you for long-term technical and leadership growth within a stable, globally respected organization.
- • You will function mainly as a development engineer for equipment related projects in the Pulp/Paper and Water Treatment business.
- • You will be developing and designing new equipment offerings to fit new commercial efforts with collaboration from commercial teams, equipment vendors and the Solenis Launch team.
- • This includes the ideation, design, drawing/manual development and construction oversight of brand new to market equipment offerings.
- • You will be the primary contact on new equipment design projects to ensure they meet commercial needs as well as ready to hand over to the equipment launch team upon completion.
- • You will be measured in on time delivery of projects within defined budget and operating parameters while maintaining Solenis’ strict safety protocols established for its branded equipment lines.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering field (Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering).
- • 8+ years of industry experience in Engineering Product Development.
- • Strong project management experience.
- • Ability to learn new concepts/technology and apply them effectively.
- • Experience with CAD or other relevant drawing programs.
- • Ability to travel 30-40%.
