• • The Escrow Assistant role supports the Escrow Officer in managing real estate transactions from opening to closing, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely closings through document coordination, communication with all parties, and use of escrow management software.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include opening, processing, and helping close escrow transactions; collecting, reviewing, and maintaining transaction documents; coordinating with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and other parties; preparing and reviewing escrow instructions, settlement statements, and closing documents; ordering title, lien, HOA, and survey reports; coordinating notarizations and signing appointments; providing professional communication and proactive follow-up; verifying wire instructions; maintaining transaction files; ensuring compliance with state/federal regulations and company policies; and using escrow management software such as Qualia.
