Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end planning, execution, and post-event analysis of 20–30 virtual and hybrid events per year, ranging from intimate customer roundtables to flagship product launches with 1,000+ attendees.
- • Translate Engine’s brand voice and product narrative into immersive event experiences that educate prospects, accelerate pipeline, and deepen customer loyalty; every slide deck, breakout room, and swag box must feel unmistakably “Engine.”
- • Partner with Sales, Product Marketing, and Customer Success to define event goals, target personas, and success metrics; build detailed project plans in Asana that map every task to an owner, deadline, and measurable KPI.
- • Negotiate and manage relationships with vendors, venues, A/V crews, caterers, and production agencies—securing competitive rates without compromising quality and ensuring all contracts include force-majeure and DEI clauses.
- • Design registration funnels and email nurture tracks in HubSpot that convert 35 %+ of registrants into qualified leads; A/B test subject lines, landing-page copy, and CTA placement to continuously lift conversion rates.
- • Produce run-of-show documents, speaker briefs, and contingency playbooks so that every presenter—from the CEO to an external thought-leader—feels confident and on-brand; conduct dry-runs and tech checks to eliminate day-of surprises.
- • Curate agendas that balance thought-leadership keynotes, hands-on product demos, and interactive networking sessions; source and prep customer speakers, ensuring diverse representation across industries, geographies, and company sizes.
- • Oversee live event execution: manage virtual production tools (StreamYard, Restream, or equivalent), cue presenters, moderate Q&A, and troubleshoot attendee issues in real time while maintaining a calm, solutions-first demeanor.
- • Capture and analyze event data—attendance, engagement scores, pipeline influence, and NPS—then deliver a concise, insight-rich recap within five business days; make data-backed recommendations for future event iterations.
- • Maintain an annual events calendar that aligns with product launches, industry conferences, and seasonal buying cycles; flag potential conflicts early and propose creative alternatives that maximize reach and budget efficiency.
- • Champion accessibility and inclusivity: ensure captioning, color-contrast standards, and time-zone-friendly scheduling so every attendee can fully participate.
- • Collaborate with the Brand & Creative team to develop cohesive visual identities for each event series—logos, motion graphics, social templates, and on-screen overlays that extend campaign life well beyond the live date.
- • Manage a six-figure events budget, tracking every PO, invoice, and credit-card receipt in NetSuite; forecast quarterly spend and surface cost-saving opportunities such as bundled vendor packages or co-marketing partnerships.
- • Mentor and up-skill junior marketers on event best-practices; host quarterly lunch-and-learns covering topics like speaker coaching, virtual stage design, and post-event lead routing.
- • Stay ahead of industry trends—whether it’s the latest metaverse platform or AI-powered matchmaking—piloting one experimental format per quarter to keep Engine at the forefront of B2B event innovation.
- • Serve as the internal evangelist for events’ strategic value, presenting quarterly business reviews to the executive team that tie event performance directly to revenue, retention, and brand awareness.
