- • Lead technical design and development for enterprise integration and automation initiatives across the EverCommerce platform.
- • Architect scalable AWS-based microservices, APIs, event-driven flows, and secure integration patterns to support service commerce solutions.
- • Provide hands-on backend development for services, APIs, databases, and automation workflows using modern cloud-native technologies.
- • Guide engineering teams through design reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, and production readiness processes.
- • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, scalable, and business-aligned technical solutions.
- • Design and implement AI-enabled automation use cases, including agentic workflows and LLM-powered solutions using AWS Bedrock.
- • Establish and enforce engineering best practices across SDLC, documentation, testing, observability, security, and release management.
- • Troubleshoot critical production issues, drive root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes to improve system reliability.
- • Serve as a technical leader and mentor to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering growth and technical excellence within the team.
- • Collaborate across distributed teams in the U.S. and Canada to deliver high-impact automation and integration initiatives.
- • Ensure all solutions meet compliance, audit-ready standards, and security controls including SOX requirements.
- • Contribute to the evolution of automation platforms such as Workato and other iPaaS tools to streamline business processes.
- • Maintain deep technical involvement while providing architectural oversight for enterprise-scale systems handling 725,000+ customers.
- • Support the adoption of AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, Secrets Manager, SQS/SNS/EventBridge, CloudWatch, and IAM in production environments.
- • Promote a culture of continuous improvement in engineering processes, tooling, and delivery quality across all product teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong software engineering background with hands-on backend development experience
- • Experience designing and building solutions on AWS Cloud
- • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, databases, authentication, and integration patterns
- • Experience with automation platforms such as Workato or similar iPaaS tools
- • Experience with AWS Bedrock
- • Ability to lead technical design discussions and mentor engineers
