📋 Description

• As an Expert Services Engineer at X-Bow Systems Inc., you will serve as a critical technical bridge between customers and internal teams, ensuring seamless deployment, integration, and support of the company’s AI-powered autonomous pentesting platform. This role is pivotal in translating complex cybersecurity technology into real-world value for enterprise clients in South Korea and beyond, directly contributing to XBOW’s mission of defeating cyber threats before they materialize through offensive AI innovation.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will include acting as the primary technical point of contact post-sales, leading self-hosted product deployments across diverse customer environments, integrating XBOW’s solution with existing infrastructure (including VPN, SSO, and cloud platforms), providing Tier 2 technical support for complex issues, prototyping features based on field feedback, supporting pre-sales activities when needed, and communicating technical and business value to stakeholders ranging from security engineers to CISOs. You will also gather and relay customer insights to product engineering teams to drive platform maturation and ensure alignment between field needs and product development.
• You will join a mission-driven, fast-growing cybersecurity startup backed by Sequoia Capital and Altimeter, composed of pioneers from GitHub Copilot and GitHub Advanced Security. The team is deeply technical, innovation-focused, and committed to building the world’s first autonomous pentester — a role that places you at the forefront of AI-driven offensive security innovation.
• In this role, you will develop deep expertise in AI-augmented cybersecurity, gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge cloud and DevSecOps technologies, sharpen your ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and executive audiences, and influence product direction through direct customer feedback. You’ll also build cross-functional collaboration skills across sales, engineering, and customer success teams, positioning yourself for leadership in technical customer-facing roles within high-growth tech environments.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or adjacent technical roles, with proven hands-on expertise in building and deploying cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
• Demonstrated experience as an Expert Services or Field Engineer in the cybersecurity space, preferably with a SaaS product, including leading product integrations, supporting customer deployments, and providing Tier 2 technical support.
• Strong command of core security concepts including the OWASP Top 10, SAST, SCA, CWP, DAST, and familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO-27001, SOC 2, FedRAMP, PCI, or HIPAA.
• Fluency in both English and Korean (written and spoken), enabling effective communication with local stakeholders and global teams.
• Ability to prototype features, explain complex technical concepts clearly to mixed audiences (including CISOs and executives), and tailor messaging appropriately based on audience technical depth.
• Experience working closely with Product Engineering teams to field customer insights and influence product roadmap decisions.
