- • Provide therapeutic area and product expertise for Solid Tumors (primarily Colorectal Cancer and Melanoma) and Early Pipeline assets across PA, NJ, and WV.
- • Plan and execute compliant Medical strategy and customer engagement initiatives aligned with Pfizer Medical Affairs objectives within assigned territory.
- • Serve as a trusted resource for Medical Information, delivering truthful, accurate, and scientifically supported responses to unsolicited medical inquiries from healthcare providers (HCPs) in accordance with Pfizer guidelines.
- • Identify and engage priority customer segments in the oncology therapeutic area to advance medical education and foster relationships with key stakeholders.
- • Lead advisory boards (BRF, Vendor) under manager oversight and provide Medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR) process.
- • Partner with Global Medical Affairs, Oncology Research & Development, and Global Product Development to identify potential clinical trial sites, with a focus on under-represented patient populations.
- • Deliver approved medical content through live and virtual presentations, written communications, telephone calls, and other channels, ensuring alignment with health literacy and cultural awareness principles.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with the latest clinical data, congress findings, and disease state literature to ensure up-to-date medical expertise.
- • Represent Pfizer Medical Affairs leadership within clinical and professional medical societies, upholding medical professionalism in all interactions.
- • Collect and communicate customer insights and local patient organization structures to inform corporate Medical Affairs strategy and asset development.
- • Collaborate with Corporate Affairs and HQ Medical Affairs to engage appropriately with local Patient Advocacy Groups.
- • Serve on cross-functional Medical, Therapeutic Area, and Asset committees to ensure alignment across organizational functions.
- • Mentor onboarding partners, advisory board leads, and study leads as part of leadership development responsibilities.
- • Operate a Pfizer company vehicle and travel 60-80% of the time to meet with HCPs, attend corporate meetings at NYHQ, and participate in medical conferences.
- • Rapidly adopt and utilize digital tools and technologies to record medical interactions and enhance customer engagement.
- • Manage multiple projects concurrently in a remote environment while maintaining high standards of prioritization, judgment, and execution.
- • Demonstrate change agility and adaptability to evolving therapeutic areas, organizational structures, and healthcare regulations.
- • Collaborate effectively within a matrixed, multi-disciplinary team to build professional relationships aligned with Pfizer’s Medical objectives.
- • Maintain self-awareness and behavioral adaptability to positively impact personal and team performance and engagement.
- • Apply clinical and technical skills to interpret study design, methodology, data analysis, and clinical trial outcomes and communicate them accurately to customers.
- • Act as an Asset leader, contributing strategically to the medical plan for assigned oncology products.
- • Reactively and proactively address inbound HCP queries via established triage processes.
- • Participate in special projects as required to support organizational goals.
🎯 Requirements
- • MD or DO Degree required
- • 4+ years of relevant experience required
- • Subject matter expert recognized across internal and external stakeholders
- • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
- • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and multi-stakeholder management
- • Flexibility to travel 60-80% of the time and operate a Pfizer company car

- • Annual base salary range of $230,900.00 to $384,800.00
- • Eligibility for Global Performance Plan bonus target of 25.0% of base salary
