📋 Description
- • Manage daily patient access and reimbursement activities for provider offices and outpatient facilities within a designated geographic region in the U.S.
- • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with healthcare providers and facility accounts to ensure seamless reimbursement processes for Alcon’s surgical and ocular health products.
- • Collaborate with field sales teams to build strong customer engagement and deliver positive experiences through reimbursement expertise.
- • Educate providers and clinical staff on payer policies, coding requirements, billing procedures, and claim appeal processes specific to Alcon’s equipment and devices.
- • Serve as the subject matter expert for training and deploying Value Tools across the Alcon product portfolio to support reimbursement success.
- • Deliver managed care and reimbursement training to both internal stakeholders and external customers, including healthcare administrators and billing personnel.
- • Analyze local market data and healthcare reimbursement dynamics to inform business planning and strategy with regional field teams.
- • Stay current on evolving reimbursement regulations, policy changes, and ophthalmic industry trends affecting provider accounts.
- • Represent Alcon at industry meetings, professional organization events, and reimbursement-focused forums as assigned.
- • Communicate critical product information, competitive intelligence, and market insights to home office teams to support broader business objectives.
- • Ensure accurate and timely sharing of data related to current and new products, billing challenges, and reimbursement outcomes.
- • Travel up to 60% to visit provider offices, outpatient facilities, and industry events across the assigned U.S. territory.
- • Act as a liaison between field operations and corporate teams to align reimbursement strategies with commercial goals.
- • Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and internal policies while supporting provider billing integrity.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (high school +13 years, associate +9 years, master’s +2 years, PhD +0 years)
- • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in medical device reimbursement, provider office settings, or healthcare billing
- • Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
