- • Embark on a dynamic career journey as a Field Sales Executive, Mandarin Speaking, at Deliveroo, a company at the forefront of transforming how people shop and eat. You will be an integral part of our Commercial team, a powerhouse that shapes our global marketplace by fostering strong relationships with restaurants, grocers, and emerging verticals. This role is for individuals who are driven by impact, innovation, and continuous growth, thriving in fast-paced, commercially charged environments where strategic thinking and execution are paramount.
- • As a key member of the Chinese Category team within the UKI Commercial function, your primary mission will be to expand Deliveroo's restaurant network across Dublin and its surrounding regions. You will be instrumental in ensuring that the finest Chinese cuisine is readily available to our diverse customer base, solidifying Deliveroo's position as the preferred platform for high-quality Chinese restaurant partners.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will be multifaceted and engaging. You will be tasked with prospecting and closing deals with top-tier Chinese restaurants, meticulously mapping the market to identify key opportunities and presenting compelling pitches to secure new partnerships. This involves not just identifying potential partners but also demonstrating a deep understanding of their business needs and how Deliveroo can drive their success.
- • A significant aspect of your role will involve strategic relationship management. You will act as a city-level expert, leveraging a combination of physical visits, phone calls, and social media engagement to effectively showcase Deliveroo's innovative technology and value proposition to partners. Crucially, these interactions will be conducted in Mandarin or Cantonese, fostering authentic and trust-based relationships within the Chinese restaurant community.
- • You will also be responsible for the end-to-end onboarding process for newly signed restaurants. This means guiding partners seamlessly from contract signature through to their successful "go-live" on the platform, ensuring the entire process is efficient, rapid, and sets them up for immediate success. Your ability to manage this critical phase will directly impact partner satisfaction and retention.
- • Furthermore, you will play a vital role in ensuring the early-stage success of these new partners. This involves closely monitoring their performance during their initial eight weeks on the platform, identifying any challenges, and implementing strategies to drive sustained growth and long-term success. This proactive approach is key to building a robust and thriving restaurant network.
- • To stay ahead of the curve and maintain Deliveroo's competitive edge, you will actively participate in market integration activities. This includes representing Deliveroo at relevant restaurant and food industry meet-ups, staying abreast of emerging industry trends, and understanding evolving customer preferences and culinary demands. Your insights will be invaluable in shaping our strategy.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to make a visible impact daily, directly improving experiences for customers, restaurant partners, and riders. You will learn and grow rapidly in an entrepreneurial environment, working with autonomy and real responsibility close to the market. Deliveroo is committed to helping you build a career, not just a role, by providing opportunities to stretch yourself, develop new skills, and grow as the business evolves. You will be part of collaborative, values-driven teams that support your working style, all within an inclusive culture that celebrates diversity and fosters a sense of belonging. As part of the broader DoorDash family, you will collaborate with global teams, unlocking new possibilities and contributing to a unified vision.
