This role is pivotal in maintaining the seamless delivery of healthcare services, directly impacting patient care and operational efficiency.
  • • Your primary responsibility will involve performing timely and accurate preventative maintenance (PM) on a range of medical equipment, adhering strictly to established protocols and manufacturer guidelines. This proactive approach is essential for minimizing equipment downtime and preventing potential issues before they arise.
  • • You will independently troubleshoot and execute moderately complex repairs on assigned equipment. This requires a deep understanding of the technical intricacies of medical devices, the ability to diagnose faults efficiently, and the skill to implement effective repair solutions.
  • • Leading equipment installations is a key aspect of this role. You will be responsible for overseeing and executing installations of moderate complexity, ensuring they are performed accurately and efficiently, meeting all technical specifications and customer expectations.
  • • A significant part of your role will be dedicated to driving customer satisfaction through exceptional Service Excellence. This involves building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, understanding their needs, and consistently exceeding their expectations in service delivery.
  • • You will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, managing communications and acting as an escalation point for any customer-related concerns, particularly those arising during installations or service calls.
  • • You will own customer issues from their initial identification or dispatch through to complete resolution, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory outcome.
  • • Proactive engagement with your team members is crucial. You will collaborate with colleagues to ensure the most effective solutions are provided to customers, fostering a team-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • • You will lead and manage installations, validations, maintenance activities, and service repair needs for designated equipment, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
  • • Leveraging your understanding of customer operations and building strong relationships will be key to assisting customers and the service sales team in driving contract and on-demand revenue growth. This involves identifying opportunities for additional services that enhance customer value.
  • • Maintaining strong relationships with customers is paramount. This includes ensuring timely communication, effective resolution of issues, and diligent follow-up to foster loyalty and satisfaction.
  • • You must strictly adhere to all company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements. Daily documentation of all work performed, including debriefing, capturing key metrics, and ordering necessary parts, is a critical component of this role.
  • • You will partner with customers and the sales team to recommend value-added services that can help customers operate their facilities more efficiently and effectively.
  • • When necessary, you will utilize the GEHC escalation process and collaborate closely with regional and national support teams to define and implement corrective action plans for resolving complex customer issues.
  • • This role requires you to be based in the South Pittsburgh – Northern West Virginia area, working remotely within this territory.
  • • You will be expected to be available after hours and potentially work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends, to provide essential support to our healthcare partners.
  • • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities while consistently maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction is essential for success in this dynamic role.
  • • You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of advanced medical technologies, contributing directly to the GE HealthCare mission of creating a world where healthcare has no limits.
