- • Diagnose, repair, and maintain Revvity’s Diagnostics and Life Sciences instruments including immunoassay platforms, LC/MS, DNA extractors, plate readers, imaging systems, and liquid handling equipment across Italy.
- • Execute preventive maintenance schedules and respond to urgent service calls, prioritizing critical customer needs to ensure maximum instrument uptime.
- • Manage and track technical escalations, coordinating with European technical support and product specialists to resolve complex issues in a timely manner.
- • Provide on-site technical training and troubleshooting support to customers to optimize instrument performance and user proficiency.
- • Collaborate closely with Sales, Applications, and European Service teams to enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and identify growth opportunities.
- • Share field insights and feedback with Product Management to support continuous improvement of diagnostic and life science instruments.
- • Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability for repairs and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- • Complete all service documentation, reports, and expense submissions accurately and in accordance with company policies and SLA requirements.
- • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and ensure strict compliance with Quality Management System standards and safety regulations.
- • Align all field service activities with departmental KPIs and performance targets to contribute to overall business objectives.
- • Operate autonomously as the technical face of Revvity in Italy, serving laboratories in pharmaceutical, research, clinical, and academic environments.
- • Travel extensively throughout Italy to serve customer sites, with structured travel schedules and field-based operations.
- • Utilize advanced PC skills including Windows operating systems, networking, and laboratory information systems to support instrument diagnostics and data management.
- • Represent Revvity professionally at all customer levels, from laboratory technicians to senior scientific staff, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- • Maintain a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel regularly across the Italian territory to meet customer service demands.
🎯 Requirements
- • Technical or University degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related field
- • Minimum 5 years of field service engineering experience with independent resolution of complex technical issues
- • Hands-on experience with analytical or clinical instrumentation in pharmaceutical, research, clinical, or academic laboratory environments
- • Strong electronics background and understanding of analytical and clinical instrument applications
- • Fluent Italian and strong English proficiency for technical communication, report writing, and international collaboration
- • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively across Italy
