  • • Embark on a dynamic career as a Field Service Technician with Munters Group AB, a leading innovator in climate solutions. This remote role, based in Tennessee, offers the opportunity to travel extensively across the region, providing essential on-site support for our commercial and industrial dehumidification equipment. You will be the face of Munters to our valued customers, ensuring their systems operate at peak performance through expert repair, meticulous maintenance, and comprehensive troubleshooting.
  • • As a Field Service Technician, your primary responsibility will be to travel to diverse customer locations to deliver exceptional service and support. This involves diagnosing and resolving complex malfunctions across a wide range of Munters equipment, requiring a keen analytical mind and a deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Your ability to work independently, coupled with strong problem-solving skills, will be crucial in ensuring minimal downtime and maximum customer satisfaction.
  • • Beyond reactive repairs, you will play a proactive role in customer education. This includes providing clear and concise training to clients on the proper operation and maintenance of standard Munters equipment, empowering them to get the most out of their investment. Your technical insights are invaluable; therefore, you will be tasked with submitting detailed field service reports that provide critical feedback on equipment performance, contributing directly to our product development and improvement cycles.
  • • Professionalism and effective communication are paramount. You will interact with customers in a service-oriented manner, both in person and through written and verbal channels, building strong, trust-based relationships. Your ability to articulate technical information clearly and empathetically will be key to fostering customer loyalty and ensuring a positive experience with Munters.
  • • This role also presents opportunities to contribute to business growth. You will be expected to identify and promote sales and service opportunities for Munters equipment, acting as a brand ambassador and a trusted advisor to our clientele. Your success in this area will directly impact the company's reach and revenue.
  • • The ideal candidate thrives in an environment that demands self-motivation, results-orientation, and a high degree of integrity. You must be adept at self-management, capable of independently prioritizing and executing tasks to keep improvement activities on track, even when faced with competing demands. A curious mindset and a commitment to continuous learning are essential, as you will be working with cutting-edge technology and evolving customer needs.
  • • Strong social awareness and relationship-building skills are vital for navigating diverse customer environments and collaborating effectively with internal teams. You will be empowered to make responsible decisions independently, demonstrating accountability and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ability to flex between priorities and maintain momentum on improvement initiatives is a hallmark of success in this role.
  • • This position requires a robust technical foundation, particularly in HVAC/R systems within commercial and industrial settings. A solid understanding of electrical schematics and the ability to interpret them are necessary for effective diagnostics and repair. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is expected for reporting and communication purposes.
  • • You will be expected to travel extensively, approximately 80% of the time, including the ability to travel by plane. This role involves physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally, and frequently performing activities such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Close visual acuity is required for detailed work and computer terminal use. The ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours a day, is also a requirement.
  • • Ultimately, this role is about ensuring the optimal performance of critical climate control systems for our customers, contributing to their operational success while upholding the high standards of Munters Group AB. You will be an integral part of a dedicated team, driving customer satisfaction and supporting the company's mission through your technical expertise and commitment to service excellence.
